On the eve of the astrological new year it feels appropriate that I begin my treatment of The Great Re-designer: Venus, and her role in the astrology of the next 365 days. It cannot be underestimated.
As a deeply Venusian person with Venus as my chart ruler, in her dignity in Taurus, along with my Moon and Rising Point, I feel well disposed to get into it.
However, all I’ll say for now is that although many of the Prime Movers can be associated with artifacts, I think Venus has a special eye for the aesthetically magical and therefore this download, I do concur, is from her.
No surprise perhaps that this was my first “download” recorded with music (Venus) in the background instead of nature (also Venus). And it happened spontaneously in my office, while admiring my new circle of artifacts. So that’s a bit of a re-design or at least a new way (Venus Retrograde) for this project, which was seeded as specifically forest walk downloads. None the less, I’ve placed it ahead of dozens of other recordings and made it ep. 02 because it feels right. Right for the times.
And perhaps I’ll just add that it’s not just Venus that will be playing a huge role this coming year but Venus Retrograde. That’s right, and The Great Redesign will not just be a transiting Venus retrograde cycle thing, rather, this cosmic signature is stamped into the Earth’s Solar Return Chart (and mine, at 0° Aries), in between eclipses, making it both significant for the next 6 months and 12 months in different ways.
Suffice to say, take stock of your things. Of your artifacts. Imbue them with Power. Distribute what needs distribution. We will be fighting this sacred, holy war of ascension together. Might as well have some cool magical artifacts around.
From the episode:
“…one of the most beautiful ways to do magic in this world is to celebrate and exalt and infuse our artifacts, the things that we have that have meaning to us and then pass them down or gift them to people that could use them. [Who] could benefit for whatever reason from that artifact.”
“ I'd love for people to exalt in some way, celebrate, or tap into the power…of their artifacts. And some of the greatest artifacts are things, of course…that you never got. That came to you somehow.”
